We are seeking visual artists, performers, bands, dance teams, musicians and photographers to participate in activities during the week and at the Way to GROW! Festival.
Volunteers
We are seeking volunteers that would love to play an integral role in Way to GROW! Week and Festival.
We are seeking community organizations, churches, schools, sororities and fraternities and individuals.

Join the 2025 Way to GROW! Prize Challenge and compete for the title of our top-GROW!ng entrepreneur.
Finalists will be spotlighted during the Way to GROW! Week and Festival, and one winner will take home the $2500 grand prize!
Throughout this challenge, you’ll participate in daily activities (online and in-person) to:

Now in its 3rd year, Way to GROW! Week and Festival returns with a bold new focus: moving Henderson forward by investing in what makes us GROW!
We’re celebrating our incredible community, passionate entrepreneurs, and generous sponsors—thank you for your continued support!
This year, we’re evolving.
The festival isn’t just fun (though there’s plenty of that!)—it’s also a celebration of economic development as the powerful blend of social capital, economic capital, and cultural capital.
These themes will shine throughout the week in engaging, city-wide events designed to inspire, connect, and GROW!

What types of vendors are you looking for?
We are looking for a diverse array of vendors, including farmers, artisans, fashion designers, jewelry makers, bakers, chefs, skilled craftspeople, barristers, and craft cocktail artists. We welcome vendors offering fresh produce, handmade crafts, gourmet foods, specialty beverages, and unique products that reflect the entrepreneurial spirit and cultural diversity of our community.
How can I apply to be a vendor at the festival?
To apply as a vendor, please visit our website at waytogrowfest.com and complete the vendor application form. Ensure you provide detailed information about your products and any special requirements you may have.
What are the vendor fees and what do they include?
We're excited to announce that vendor fees for the 2025 Way to GROW! Festival are waived! We believe in supporting our local entrepreneurs and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate. This includes vendor space, a listing on the festival website, and promotional opportunities.
If you are a no-show and have not submitted notice of non-participation, you will no be eligable to particpate in future Way to GROW! events.
What are the setup and breakdown times for vendors?
Vendors must begin setting up their booths at 8:00 AM on August 23, 2025. Breakdown must be completed by 7:00 PM on August 23, 2025. Detailed instructions will be provided upon acceptance of your application.
Are there any specific requirements for food vendors?
Yes, food vendors must have current insurance and comply with all local health and safety regulations. This includes having the necessary permits and food handler certifications. Additionally, food trucks should ensure they meet all fire safety requirements. Detailed instructions will be provided upon acceptance of your application.
Are there any specific requirements for vendors selling alcohol?
Yes, vendors selling alcohol must comply with all local and state liquor laws and regulations. This includes obtaining the necessary permits and licenses to sell alcohol at the festival. Vendors must also ensure that all staff are trained in responsible alcohol service. Detailed instructions will be provided upon acceptance of your application.
Will there be electricity and water available for vendors?
No, there will not be electricity or water available on-site for vendors. Vendors who need power must bring their own generators. Please ensure that your generator is quiet and efficient to minimize disruption to other vendors and attendees.
How will vendors be promoted?
Vendors will be featured on the festival website, social media channels, and in the festival program. We also encourage vendors to promote their participation through their own networks.
What COVID-19 safety measures will be in place?
The safety of our vendors and attendees is our top priority. We will follow all local health guidelines and implement necessary measures such as sanitization stations, social distancing protocols, and mask requirements if mandated. Detailed safety guidelines will be provided closer to the event.
Is there any special advice for vendors regarding weather?
Yes, we suggest that vendors set up tents over their vendor space to provide shade and protection from the elements. Please be aware that the festival may experience high temperatures, so it’s important to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions. We recommend bringing plenty of water, using fans if possible, and setting up your space in a way that maximizes airflow. Be prepared for a heat advisory and ensure you have the means to stay cool.
Is the festival a rain or shine event?
Yes, the Way to GROW! Festival is a rain or shine event. Please come prepared for all weather conditions. Tents and appropriate weather gear are highly recommended to ensure a comfortable and successful experience, regardless of the weather.
